An award winning unfiltered cold pressed Sicilian olive oil characterized by a greenish-gold color, fresh fruit aroma, with an almond aftertaste. Frantoia is produced from the olive trees planted in the western central hills of Sicily. Three varieties of olives are used; Nocellara, Ogliarola and Biancolilla. Tradition and advanced technology are combined by using granite grinders to crush the olives and a cold centrifuge system is used to extract the oil. Great with bitter greens, fish, drizzled over risotto, over fresh cheese, sautéing, seasoning or marinating purposes.
