This Apulian Olive Oil is made only from the Peranzana olive. Characterized as a juicy olive with a firm pulp, it contains oil of an especially high quality. These olives are only handpicked when they are ripe and then carefully selected to maintain its high quality standards. They are then cold pressed with the famous Gargano lemons in a granite mill. This process of manufacturing creates an oil that is silky in texture and well balanced with the essence of fresh lemons. This product was recently awarded the 2008 Sofi™ Silver, Outstanding Oil Award by the NASFT (National Association for the Specialty Food Trade).
