One of Frances most famous cheeses, Camembert is a bloomy rind, cow milk cheese from the northern region of Normandy. This version is washed in Calvados, the dry apple brandy made in the region. The combination creates a rind that is slightly sticky and aromatic. The pate is subtle and soft with a full and robust flavor with hints of apples.
